Baseball Recap: Racine Case Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Racine Case's offense. They came up short against the Kenosha Tremper Trojans on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Racine Case saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Vela, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Vela's first of the season.

Racine Case's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kenosha Tremper, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1-1.

While Racine Case had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
