Basketball Recap: Brazosport Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brazosport Christian can now relate to. They fell 41-29 to the Sacred Heart Indians on Monday. It was the first time this season that the Eagles let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Brazosport Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Charity Catoe posted no points in addition to nine boards, six blocks, and four steals. The dominant performance gave Catoe a new career-high in blocks.

Brazosport Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Brazosport Christian nor Sacred Heart have any future games scheduled.
