Volleyball Recap: Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

While Myrtle Beach was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Myrtle Beach's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-19.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for North Myrtle Beach, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Myrtle Beach will square off against St. James at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Seahawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will challenge Conway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
