Basketball Recap: Moravian Prep National Wins Going Away Against Phoenix Montessori Academy

The Moravian Prep National Lions strolled past the Phoenix Montessori Academy Firebirds with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 81-66.

Phoenix Montessori Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Reid Johannes, who shot 75% from the field en route to 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Jenkins, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

The victory got Moravian Prep National back to even at 1-1. As for Phoenix Montessori Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Moravian Prep National will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ambassador Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on December 12. As for Phoenix Montessori Academy, they will square off against Lab University Christian Academy National at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
