Tymond Foxx Delivers Best Effort of Season

Tymond Foxx produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Largo to the win on Friday. Foxx rushed for 301 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Crossland had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Foxx it was a similar story. Foxx rushed for 236 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Cavaliers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Zion Walford posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, making two total tackles. The contest was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

The victory (which was Gwynn Park's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. It'll be a Battle of the Bugs Yellowjackets challenges Surrattsville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
