Basketball Recap: Windsor Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Covenant Academy + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against First Presbyterian Day, Windsor Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over the Covenant Academy Rams. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Windsor Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Greg Brooks out in front who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Brooks now owns an excellent 47.4% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Bryant Davis, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Windsor Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Covenant Academy lost, don't look at Ryan Stevens. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. The game was Stevens' fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Lucas Fisher was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Windsor Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Covenant Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
