Football Game Preview: Lindbergh Eagles vs. Cedarcrest Red Wolves + How To Watch

Lindbergh hasn't had much luck against Cedarcrest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Cedarcrest took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lindbergh, who comes in off a win.

Lindbergh's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Evergreen 45-0. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Lindbergh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chris Cornelius and Maurice White.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 63 points the game before, Cedarcrest was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 48-7 defeat at the hands of Interlake. The Red Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

Lindbergh will have to contain Aiden Valentine as he made an impact in Cedarcrest's last game. He rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown.

Lindbergh's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Cedarcrest, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Lindbergh couldn't quite finish off Cedarcrest when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
