While Needles's win against Lincoln County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Needles skirted past Lincoln County 6-5. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Lynx recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Audrina Bullchild was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over 6.2 innings pitched. Bullchild was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Liana DeLeon was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Scotti Powell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Needles pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Lincoln County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Needles will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lincoln County: the pair will be back at it again later today.
