Softball Game Preview: Warroad Warriors vs. Roseau Rams

Warroad hasn't had much luck against Roseau recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Monday, Warroad sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over Barnesville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Red Lake Falls typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Roseau proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Eagles 3-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Warroad's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Roseau, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Warroad came up short against Roseau when the teams last played back in April, falling 7-2. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
