Recap: River Valley Falcons vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras
The River Valley Falcons pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 70-56 fall against Lincoln. River Valley has not had much luck with Lincoln recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
River Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jai Chohan, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayvione Brown, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Michael Neely was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Roman Snyder, who scored 13 points.
River Valley now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
River Valley will take on Monte Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln's road trip will continue as they head out to face Twelve Bridges at 8:00 p.m. on November 30th.
