If Snow Canyon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Maple Mountain, they should've done a better job of containing Aliyah Marks. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors on Friday for which the team can thank Marks, who had 14 digs and three aces. Marks is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Snow Canyon lost, don't look at Solaya Barker-Winton. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and three aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Maple Mountain and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Snow Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Maple Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northridge on the 6th. As for Snow Canyon, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Farmington on the 5th.
