Volleyball Recap: Philipsburg-Osceola Comes Up Short

Philipsburg-Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on Saturday.

Philipsburg-Osceola's offense was headlined by Crosby Holt and Adi Jarrett, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Maddie Anderson and her five assists.

Philipsburg-Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12-4. As for Hollidaysburg, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Philipsburg-Osceola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against McDowell on the 8th. Hollidaysburg has also already played their next contest (against Bishop Guilfoyle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
