Basketball Game Preview: Frederick Golden Eagles vs. Ponderosa Mustangs + Official Tickets

The Frederick Golden Eagles will face off against the Ponderosa Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ponderosa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Frederick, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, everything came up roses for Frederick against Loveland as the team secured a 90-51 victory.

Ponderosa kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. The game between the Mustangs and Centaurus didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 53-38. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Frederick beat Ponderosa 70-58 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
