Basketball Recap: Crittenden County Comes Up Short

Crittenden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the South Panola Tigers, falling 69-36.

Crittenden County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Panola, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

Crittenden County and South Panola could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. Crittenden County (ranked 251st) will meet Graves County (ranked 94th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, South Panola will take on DeSoto Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday down 141 places (156 vs. 15).
