Basketball Game Preview: Old Town Coyotes vs. Orono Riots

The Old Town Coyotes will square off against the Orono Riots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Old Town is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Caribou, who was ranked first at the time (Old Town was ranked 22nd). Old Town took a 58-41 bruising from Caribou on Saturday. The Coyotes have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Orono has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 52-44 to Foxcroft Academy on Monday.

Old Town's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Orono, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
