Basketball Recap: Stockbridge Comes Up Short

Stockbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Valley Christian Warriors, falling 73-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Stockbridge has suffered against Valley Christian since December 27, 2016.

Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Valley Christian, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

Stockbridge has already played their next contest (against Gresham Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Christian will venture away from home to take on Wayland Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian is facing Wayland Academy at the right time seeing as Wayland Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
