Volleyball Game Preview: Clovis East Timberwolves vs. Harker Eagles

The Clovis East Timberwolves will head out to square off against the Harker Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Clovis East is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Saint Francis as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Timberwolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Harker faced Folsom in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs.

While Harker might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Folsom scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

Harker's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-8. As for Clovis East, their win bumped their record up to 26-11.
