Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Newton (Home School)'s Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Newton (Home School) posted their closest victory since September 13th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions 2-1.

Kasodi Schroeder paced Newton (Home School)'s offense, picking up seven kills. Schroeder really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Addi Hoelscher and Hannah Hoelscher kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Newton (Home School) is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Newton (Home School) has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Veritas Christian on the 11th. Kansas City East Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
