Soccer Recap: Parkrose Takes a Loss

Parkrose managed to slip by Wilsonville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Broncos came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Parkrose can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Wilsonville are ranked 44th).

Parkrose has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season. As for Wilsonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Parkrose is set to square off against their familiar foe La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilsonville will challenge rival Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
