Flag Football Recap: West Covina Takes a Loss

West Covina and Canyon Springs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but West Covina had to settle for second. They fell 19-9 to the Cougars. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Canyon Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season.

West Covina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canyon Springs, they will welcome Temecula Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 13.4, the Patriots 9.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
