Maxwell had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Hamilton on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Braves 13-3. Considering the Panthers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Yahir Alcaraz, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Luka Benedet, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Maxwell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Maxwell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Braves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
