Richland Northeast came into Friday's contest looking for another win against York, but Tayshon Freeman wouldn't allow it. The Cougars took down the Cavaliers 28-14 on Friday thanks in part to Freeman, who rushed for 62 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 96 yards and two touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of York's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-6 otherwise.

York moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Richland Northeast, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York will challenge Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Bruins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.11 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Richland Northeast, they will face off against South Pointe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Stallions' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
