Brawley won the last time they faced Calipatria and things went their way on Friday too. The Brawley Wildcats rang in the new year with a 52-45 win over the Calipatria Hornets. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Brawley's record now sits at 10-7. As for Calipatria, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brawley will head out to face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.8 points per game this season. As for Calipatria, they will take on Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
