Volleyball Recap: Lima Senior Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Woodward last Wednesday, Lima Senior came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the Kenton Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Lima Senior actually scored more points across those five sets (105-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 15-11.

Their offense was headlined by Delilah Gaines-Romick and Kennedy Simpson-Parks, who picked up ten kills apiece. They were helped by Aryiah Bowie and Amyah King, who contributed 17 assists each. King was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Lima Senior's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kenton, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Lima Senior has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Start on the 17th. As for Kenton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Celina on the 18th.
