Football Recap: Bangs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bangs can now relate to. They came up short against the Tom Bean Tomcats on Friday, falling 38-12. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tom Bean's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Donnie Hooten, who threw for 352 yards and four TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Hooten is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games he's played. 83 of Hooten's passing yards were hauled in by Dyson Farris, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Bangs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Tom Bean, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Bangs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tom Bean, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-7 loss against Axtell on the 21st.
