Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School Takes a Loss

The Gregory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Tombstone Yellow Jackets.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up eight kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her 12 assists. Finally, Myers was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

The Gregory School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tombstone, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Gregory School is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Santa Cruz Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tombstone, they will face off against St. David at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
