Basketball Game Preview: Millington Central Trojans vs. Memphis University School Owls

The Millington Central Trojans will take on the Memphis University School Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millington Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Millington Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Memphis Central on Friday, falling 90-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (68), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Millington Central's loss came about despite a quality game from Andre Tyler, who posted 17 points. Tyler continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Javohn Jackson, who had 11 points.

Meanwhile, Memphis University School came up short against Marion on Saturday and fell 57-46. The contest marked the Owls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Memphis University School fell to 5-1. As for Millington Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Millington Central didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Memphis University School in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, but they still walked away with a 53-48 win.
