Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Joseph Campbell, Iii and Santana Frost Lead Stratford to Victory

Stratford played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 victory over the Whites Creek Cobras. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won nine in a row.

Leading Stratford to victory were Santana Frost and Joseph Campbell, Iii. Frost rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown, while Campbell, Iii picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. The Spartans are undefeated when Frost posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-5 otherwise.

Stratford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of AJ Shute and Jaxyn Law. Stratford got some further help from Keyioun McAllister: he picked up two sacks and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Stratford's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Whites Creek, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Coming up, Stratford will challenge Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whites Creek, they will square off against Cumberland County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
