Volleyball Recap: Kettering Takes a Loss

Kettering lost against Milford back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Captains took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mavericks. The Captains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Milford can attribute much of their success to Millie Ashcroft, who had seven digs and two aces. Ashcroft is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Kettering's loss dropped their record down to 12-15-1. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 25-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kettering is set to take on their familiar foe South Lyon East at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Milford will square off against rival Walled Lake Western at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
