Volleyball Game Preview: Middlesboro Yellowjackets vs. Harlan County Black Bears

Middlesboro is 1-9 against Harlan County since August of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Yellowjackets will square off against the Black Bears at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Harlan County will be up against a hot Middlesboro squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Red Bird on Friday.

Meanwhile, Harlan County made easy work of Harlan on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Black Bears in their matchups with the Green Dragons: they've now won seven in a row.

Harlan County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Middlesboro, their win bumped their record up to 7-12-1.

Middlesboro might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Harlan County in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
