Baseball Recap: Ocean Springs Wins Going Away Against Pascagoula

Ocean Springs posted their biggest win since April 28, 2024 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over the Pascagoula Panthers. For the Greyhounds, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Jack Jordan was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Lucas Sinopli also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Ocean Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pascagoula, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ocean Springs will square off against Stone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ocean Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Stone's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pascagoula, they will take on St. Stanislaus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
