Volleyball Recap: Wiley Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Wiley lost 3-0 to Flagler. The loss continues a trend for Wiley in their meetings with Flagler: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Lylah Reinhardt paced Wiley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Reinhardt got some help from Jacee Kravig and her nine assists. Reinhardt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kynlee Dechant, each putting up two.

Wiley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Flagler, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Wiley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Holly on the 21st. As for Flagler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cheyenne Wells on the 21st.
