Culver City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Santa Monica Vikings. Culver City was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Santa Monica apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Taylor Peacock put in work while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Peacock was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple.

Peacock wasn't the only one making solid contact as one players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nai Lah Long, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
