Recap: Cherry Creek Bruins vs. Arapahoe Warriors

On Wednesday, the Cherry Creek Bruins faced the Arapahoe Warriors in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cherry Creek strolled past Arapahoe with points to spare, taking the game 53-37. The win was familiar territory for Cherry Creek who now have five in a row.

Cherry Creek was led to victory by Tianna Chambers and Molly Dorighi. Chambers scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Dorighi scored nine points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Braelynn Barnett, who scored eight points.

Cherry Creek pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arapahoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherry Creek will take on Mullen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mullen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Arapahoe, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grandview at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Grandview is ranked 11th, while Arapahoe is ranked 23rd).
