Basketball Recap: Stevensville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Stevensville had to endure a 17-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Valley Christian Eagles with a 47-42 victory on Tuesday.

Among those leading the charge was Angus Trangmoe, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was David Beames, who earned ten points.

Stevensville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Valley Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevensville will venture away from home to take on Libby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, they will head out to challenge Hot Springs on Friday.
