Volleyball Recap: Cheshire Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Cheshire, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wilbur Cross Governors on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Cheshire walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, 25-16.

Gabby Scotti was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Scotti wasn't the only good servers: Cheshire was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

With the win, Cheshire broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-8. As for Wilbur Cross, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Cheshire has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bristol Eastern on the 20th. Wilbur Cross has also already played their next contest (against Mercy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
