Baseball Recap: Spring Has No Trouble Against Nimitz

Spring won the last time they faced Nimitz and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Moises Arb was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Nolan Wilkerson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Spring kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory got Spring back to even at 14-14. As for Nimitz, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Looking ahead, Spring will head out to face off against Klein at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Nimitz, they will face off against Dekaney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
