Kendrick and Jordan are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Cherokees will challenge the Red Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Kendrick's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Spencer on Thursday. They were beaten by the Greenwave 39-0.

Meanwhile, Jordan also failed to score in their most recent game. They had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of Sumter County. The game marked the first time this season in which the Red Jackets were not able to get on the board.

Kendrick has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Kendrick against Jordan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cherokees since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
