Baseball Recap: Chuckey-Doak Takes a Loss

Chuckey-Doak lost against Sullivan East back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Black Knights took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Black Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chuckey-Doak saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Seay, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Chuckey-Doak's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Sullivan East, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Chuckey-Doak will head out to challenge North Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Black Knights are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sullivan East, they will venture away from home to square off against David Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
