Basketball Recap: Greenon's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Greenon can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 62-56 win over the Greeneview Rams. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 62-51 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Greenon's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Greeneview, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Greenon will head out to square off against Madison Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greeneview, they will host Triad at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greeneview is facing Triad at the right time seeing as Triad is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
