Masconomet Regional is 9-0-1 against Lynnfield since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Chieftains will be playing at home against the Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. Masconomet Regional will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Masconomet Regional's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Swampscott by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Masconomet Regional's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Swampscott are ranked 164th).

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lynnfield's offense. They fell 2-0 to Pentucket Regional on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for Lynnfield seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Lynnfield's loss dropped their record down to 10-2-5. As for Masconomet Regional, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.

Masconomet Regional beat Lynnfield 2-0 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Do the Chieftains have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
