Volleyball Recap: Maud Comes Up Short

Maud lost against Detroit back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-13.

Maud's loss dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Detroit, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Maud will take on rival Rivercrest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Detroit is set to challenge their familiar foe Clarksville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
