Baseball Game Preview: Bishop Brady Giants vs. Monadnock Huskies

Bishop Brady is 1-6 against Monadnock since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Giants will challenge the Huskies. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bishop Brady sitting on six straight wins and Monadnock on three.

Bishop Brady is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Conant a 10-0 shutout. The Giants might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Monadnock faced Belmont in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Red Raiders 2-1.

Bishop Brady's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Monadnock, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.

Bishop Brady was able to grind out a solid victory over Monadnock when the teams last played back in May, winning 6-2. Will the Giants repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
