Soccer Game Preview: Rio Mesa vs. Ventura + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Rio Mesa will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ventura Cougars at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Mesa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rio Mesa is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Camarillo on Friday. The Spartans and the Scorpions finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Ventura was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out Garden Grove 2-1.

Ventura's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. Rio Mesa's draw makes their record 2-3-1 this season.
