Basketball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short on the Road Against Stafford

Ashland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 59-34 to the Stafford Trojans on Tuesday. The Blue Jays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashland will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against South Central on Friday. This will be the Blue Jays' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Stafford, they will take on St. John at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
