Football Game Preview: West Potomac Wolverines vs. Robinson Rams + How To Watch

West Potomac hasn't had much luck against Robinson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, West Potomac came up short against South County and fell 20-7. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Stallions are ranked 50th).

Despite the defeat, West Potomac had strong showings from Callahan Kenney, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD, and Marshall LoCascio, who rushed for 62 yards.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Robinson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodson on Thursday, sneaking past 24-21. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won seven in a row.

West Potomac better keep an eye on Nick Garrett. He was instrumental in Robinson's win, rushing for 162 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Those 162 rushing yards gave Garrett a new career-high.

West Potomac now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Robinson, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-6.

West Potomac came up short against Robinson in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 36-27. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
