It was a good run, but Argenta-Oreana unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Clinton Maroons. The Bombers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Maroons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Argenta-Oreana ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20.

Khloe Hartrich paced Argenta-Oreana's offense, picking up nine kills. Hartrich got some help from Allison Havener and her 22 assists.

Argenta-Oreana now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Clinton, they pushed their record up to 13-19 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Argenta-Oreana has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Blue Ridge on the 21st. As for Clinton, they will challenge Lanphier at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
