Baseball Recap: Benjamin Davis Comes Up Short

Benjamin Davis lost against Aldine last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell 9-5 to the Mustangs. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benjamin Davis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demarcus Braxton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Benjamin Davis now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Aldine, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benjamin Davis will challenge Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Aldine, they will square off against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Mustangs' favor as the team sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Eagles have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
