Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Indian Lake walked away with it. They took down the Mariemont Warriors 31-14 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Indian Lake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Golliday out in front who rushed for 109 yards and one TD, and also threw for 149 yards and one touchdown. Those 109 rushing yards gave Golliday a new career-high. Gavin Henry was in the mix as well, providing Indian Lake with one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Indian Lake was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 200 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive matchups.

Indian Lake's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Mariemont, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Looking ahead, Indian Lake will take on North Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mariemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
