Gabby Mata continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Mata is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Garcia, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Charlotte and bumps their season record up to 9-15. As for Lee Academy of Science & Engineering, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
